Somerville Open Studios
Somerville Open Studios 2014 is over. Thanks to all the visitors that came out and made it a success. Although the event is over, you can still view some of the art online in our Artists Directory.
Would you like your artwork to be featured
in the Somerville Open Studios 2015 print media?
Somerville Open Studios is looking for artwork to be featured on the print media for the 2015 event. Your work could be featured on the posters, map book, and/or postcards!
If selected, your work would be integrated into different parts of the branding package for 2015. We are looking for work that relates to the community feel of Somerville, its community nature, and of course, Somerville Open Studios!
- one submission per person
- A high res image will be needed should your work be selected. If this is not available, we won't be able to use it on print items.
Please send submissions and questions to the 2015 coordinator, Ellie Laramee-Byers at: email@example.com
March in the Honki Parade with SOS!
It's that time of year again, when the leaves are starting to crisp, apples abound in the farmers markets, and marching bands will soon be seen and heard on the streets of Somerville.
Somerville Open Studios will again be marching in the Honk! Parade on Sunday, October 12, and we want YOU to join us!!!
We are also looking for people to create a few props to show off the creative spirit of Somerville Open Studios. If you are an artist who creates wonderful things and are willing to carry, make props or would just like to march in the parade with SOS, please contact SOS coordinator Ellie Laramee-Byers by Wednesday, October 1.
The parade starts in Davis Square and goes down Mass Ave into Harvard Square. This page has photos of SOS participation in previous years' Honk! parades..
How was your SOS 2014? Please tell us
Whether you were an artist, a volunteer, or a visitor, we'd like to hear from you. We've put together two short anonymous surveys to help us learn more about your SOS 2014 experience. Please take a few minutes to fill out the appropriate survey form:
You can also send e-mail to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
